VACANCIES: Panel Beater / Sheet Metalworker; PA / Office Manager
At Thornley Kelham, we are a team. We believe in talent, hard work, and chemistry. We look for people who share our work ethic - 'Do it once and do it right' - people who are are driven to do whatever it takes to ensure our customers are happy that they have entrusted their cars to us.
We are only interested if you are committed to excellence. Our desire to safeguard traditional skills and blend them with contemporary restoration techniques and materials - and to harness new technology where appropriate - is hugely important to us.
We are always looking for talented, experienced craftsmen who would like to work in a modern workshop environment with like-minded colleagues.
And we want to help young people to build a career with us. We have helped Danny through his apprenticeship, and he is now building engines and gearboxes. We are training Jesse and Matt in the full range of panel beating and pattern making skills and techniques. We want them both to be with us for a long time. We have also taken on another apprentice, Jordan, whose development we are overseeing together with their college.
Simon was told this thirty years ago - and it is true. If you would like the opportunity to grow to your potential - whatever your restoration discipline - give Simon a call on 01285 869791 (he started young - see right).
