After leaving full-time college at 18 I gained a job as an apprentice Mechanical Engineer. My interest in cars that had started from an early age, and was satisfied by repairing and maintaining my very first car which was a Ford Capri. It didn't stop there, as I became more and more interested in how to improve my cars in both performance and looks - that is when the modifications began!

Since then I have always worked in the motor industry, building new cars for 16 years. After developing new skills on modern cars I did the same thing  by maintaining, building and modifying my own and friends’ classic cars. This has enabled me to produce stunning results with cars,  some of which have gone on to win concours prizes at shows.

In 2010 I decided it was time to turn my hobby into a career to work on some really special vintage and classic cars and join Simon and Wayne which was one of the best things i've done.
Since working with Simon and Wayne I've worked on many cars many of which I had never even heard of, let alone seen. I've carried out full wiring and assembly on a Lancia Aurelia B20GT which included fitting a modern radio which was hidden from sight along with component speakers. I have re engineered a Mercedes 220SE cabriolet with a 6 speed gearbox conversion and hydraulic clutch, and have really enjoyed working on a very cool Bentley 4 1/2 litre. It is great to learn how these past masters of engineering thought and worked, and to have the opportunity to maintain or restore their work so the history on these vehicles can be kept alive.
